Johnstons Creek Parklands

The Master Plan for the Johnstons Creek Parklands guides projects within the highly valued parklands of Glebe and Annandale. It was developed through extensive consultation with the community during 2012 and 2013.

The Master Plan provides a framework to link existing Glebe foreshore parks with future open space at The Crescent Annandale, the Hill near the Federal Park lightrail station and the new parklands in Harold Park.

Phase two of community consultation for the Public Park at Harold Park begins on 3 March and continues through to 5pm, 23 March 2014.

The detailed design has been developed through technical investigations and community consultation last year. The detailed design includes:

  • A series of open spaces and areas of animal habitat linked by the existing cliff line
  • The harvesting and treatment of stormwater
  • Paths connecting neighbourhoods and parklands
  • Playgrounds, picnic areas and open grass spaces
  • Historical interpretations and art opportunities
  • Lighting and park furniture

We invite you to view the design here and provide feedback.
