The City of Sydney plans to revitalise Reconciliation Park as part of our commitment to provide excellent local parks and playgrounds. We spoke with children from Darlington Public School in September last year. Their ideas have been included in the designs of Reconciliation Park.  View our Parks and Playgrounds page.

We’d like to hear your ideas for improving this park before 22 March 2013.

The City of Sydney plans to revitalise Reconciliation Park as part of our commitment to provide excellent local parks and playgrounds. We spoke with children from Darlington Public School in September last year. Their ideas have been included in the designs of Reconciliation Park.

We’d like to hear your ideas for improving this park. We invite you to talk with our team and view the proposed designs at an information session on Saturday 9 March 2013.

Our proposed plans include:

  • more seating and spaces for relaxation;
  • increasing the size of the existing playground and adding new facilities;
  • improving the entry to the park from George Street;
  • a possible future community garden; and
  • planting new trees and shrubs.

A consultation session was held at the park on 9 March.  You can view the concept plan here.   View our Parks and Playgrounds page. Feedback closes 22 March 2013.
