Skittle Lane Improvements

Improving safety in Skittle Lane, Sydney

In response to requests from local residents, the City of Sydney is considering a proposal to permanently close Skittle Lane, Sydney, to traffic north of King Street. We invite your feedback on this proposal,

Closing the lane to traffic will improve pedestrian safety and accessibility. Vehicles currently parked in the lane could make it difficult for people leaving their buildings safely during an emergency.

Vehicle access to the rear garage of 171 Clarence Street will remain.

Feedback must be made in writing and quote your name, address and reference number 2016/020173. Email council@cityofsydney.nsw.gov.au or post to Traffic Operations, City of Sydney, GPO Box 1591, Sydney NSW 2001.

Submissions close at 6pm on 31 March 2016.

For more information about the proposed parking changes, please contact Rodney King or Van Le on 02 9265 9333 or email rking@cityofsydney.nsw.gov.au.
