  • Late Night Kings Cross Workshop

    almost 5 years ago

    Keen to do more brainstorming on ways of managing late night Kings Cross? Come to our Kings Cross Late Trading Workshop on Tuesday 5 June 2012, 6-8:30pm, at the Rex Centre, 58A Macleay St, Kings Cross.

    We will have representatives from NSW Police, the Office of Liquor, Gaming and Racing, and Transport for NSW who will talk about some of the work happening in Kings Cross and plans for the future.

    Then we want to hear from you: local residents and businesses with ideas for how we can work together to create a better Kings Cross. Some areas of discussion will touch on:

    • Growing pedestrian numbers;
    • Transport;
    • Introducing more diverse activities to the night-time mix;
    • Achieving a balance between residents and businesses;
    • Safety for all;
    • Communicating with residents and businesses; and
    • Compliance of licensed venues.

    We will be looking at your ideas, talking to all the agencies involved, working out what's feasible and coming up with a plan for managing late night Kings Cross in the future.

    The Rex Centre is an accessible community venue.
