2012 Sydney Food Trucks Trial

The City of Sydney invites Expressions of Interest from sole traders, companies, and registered food businesses with the full capability to design and deliver innovative menus, and prepare, cook and vend gourmet style take-away food for public consumption in the City of Sydney during a trial period from January 2012 to January 2013.

The 2012 Sydney Food Trucks Pilot is an opportunity to be selected for the first group of mobile food vending vehicles vending within the LGA.

Vendors are encouraged to offer a range of food products suitable for outdoor consumption that captures the essence of Sydney as an exciting street food destination.

In addition, respondents must comply with all applicable City of Sydney and state government policies and regulations, food safety requirements and encompass environmentally sound principles in accordance with Sustainable Sydney 2030.

Respondents must submit Expressions of Interest in the manner outlined in this document.

Sealed submissions endorsed "EOI No. 1211, 2012 Sydney Food Trucks – Street Vending Pilot" must be placed in the Tender Box located on Level 2, Town Hall House, 456 Kent Street, Sydney no later than 11am on Tuesday 6th December 2011. The Tender Box is accessible between the hours of 8am and 6pm, Monday to Friday.
