Locally grown produce, bees, free range chooks and plenty of opportunities for learning and community involvement have emerged as the community’s key criteria for the future City Farm.
Activities for children, sustainable buildings, sustainability workshops and facilities for composting and worm farming were also recurring themes in the community feedback captured at the City Farm Community Day at Sydney Park in July as well as the online forum at SydneyYourSay.com.au. Have Your Say on the proposed 'missing link' extension of the Glebe Foreshore Walk
Consultation for this project has now closed. Thanks to everyone who contributed their thoughts and comments on the concept design for Stage 5 of the Glebe Foreshore Walk. Watch this website for updates on the project.
he City of Sydney is planning to reclaim a vital piece of Sydney’s foreshore as public space and complete a missing link of path around the Glebe Peninsula. The project will make it possible for families, workers, visitors and bike riders to wander along an accessible waterfront path from Annandale to Bridge Road, providing access to Wentworth Park and the Sydney Fish Markets. A concept design has been developed and we would like to know what you think about our proposed plans.

Culture is an indispensable aspect of any major city. But what is it exactly? Is it the big ideas that leave legacies stretching generations? Or those seemingly inconsequential experiences that come and go in any busy week?
We're developing a new Cultural Policy and we want to hear your opinions about the most valued aspects of Sydney’s cultural life, as well as what's needed for the future. Visit the Cultural Policy page to find out more.

Do you have a special tree you would like protected for future generations?
Consultation for this project has now closed. We would like to thank everyone who contributed their comments, photos and nominations for the review of the Register of Signficant Tees.
In 2005, the City of Sydney adopted the Register of Significant Trees. It allows the City to identify and celebrate the importance of significant trees in the landscape and guide in their management to ensure their protection for future generations.
The Register is now under review and we invite you to have your say and nominate a tree or trees for inclusion in the Register of Significant Trees.
The consultation period has been extended to 30th September 2012.
